At the center of the system is the Roland V-8HD switcher, a compact, standalone addition that allows for seamless live switching between all camera angles. This gives you the ability to create a real-time line cut as the production unfolds — whether as a rough cut for review or a finished deliverable that dramatically reduces time spent in post. It’s the power of live editing, without introducing racks, complex signal chains, or unnecessary layers of gear.

To support that coverage, a dual-monitor viewing system is included, featuring a pair of Seetec quad-split displays. Both operator and client can monitor all camera feeds in real time, while also viewing the live switched program output. Any individual camera can be brought up full screen for precise adjustments, ensuring framing, composition, and performance are dialed in throughout the shoot.

Each camera is equipped with Saramonic SmartRig+ units, allowing professional XLR audio to be recorded directly into the camera itself — eliminating the need for external recorders or syncing workflows later. Everything is captured cleanly to card, organized and ready for immediate handoff. For added precision, all cameras are timecode locked, ensuring seamless multi-camera alignment in post when needed.

When the production calls for movement, this system scales effortlessly. Optional motion tools — including cinematic sliders and 8-foot or 12-foot jib systems — can be integrated to introduce sweeping, dynamic motion that elevates production value without complicating the workflow.
