The Cinematic Rig 6 is built for productions that want the beauty, depth, and character of true mirrorless cameras without the size and complexity of a traditional film crew. At the heart of the system are four Sony RX10 II cameras paired with two Canon EOS M6 Mark II cameras, creating a powerful blend of versatility and cinematic artistry.
The Sony RX10 II cameras provide the foundation of the system, delivering sharp Full HD imagery and an impressive 24–200mm f/2.8 zoom range. These cameras move effortlessly from sweeping wide shots to intimate close-ups without changing lenses, making them ideal for capturing performances, interviews, and live events with speed and precision.
The Canon EOS M6 Mark II cameras add another creative dimension. Their interchangeable lens system allows each production to be tailored to the look you want to achieve. Ultra-wide lenses can capture dramatic room perspectives and immersive stage views. Classic 35mm lenses create a timeless cinematic look with beautiful subject separation. For productions seeking a more distinctive visual style, anamorphic lenses can add wider framing, unique bokeh characteristics, cinematic lens flares, and a premium film-inspired aesthetic—all while maintaining autofocus performance.
With six strategically placed camera positions, the Cinematic Rig 6 delivers far more than simple coverage—it creates visual storytelling. One camera establishes the scene. Others capture reactions, details, performers, atmosphere, and emotion. Optional sliders, jibs, gimbals, and specialty cameras can be incorporated to add elegant movement and cinematic perspective throughout the production.
Behind the scenes, the system is powered by the YoloBox Extreme production platform, providing live switching, ISO recording, live line-cut creation, optional private livestreaming, integrated graphics, replay capability, and fast-turnaround workflows. Multiple camera angles can be monitored simultaneously, allowing the production to be directed and adjusted in real time while preserving individual camera recordings for future editing.
Professional audio is equally important. Multi-channel audio recording, wireless microphone integration, and dedicated audio capture options ensure that dialogue, music, and ambience are preserved with clarity and reliability. A wireless video village monitor allows clients to view the production from anywhere on location, and immediate media delivery options help accelerate post-production workflows.
Unlike the Flagship PTZ lineup, which prioritizes maximum coverage, remote operation, synchronized recording, and rapid deployment, the Cinematic Rig 6 is designed around lens character, depth of field, artistic framing, and the visual language traditionally associated with film production.
