Presenting the NDI Rig from MULTICAM.VIDEO — a compact, intelligent multicamera production system built around the power of network video. Unlike traditional camera systems that rely on individual HDMI cables, the NDI Rig transmits video, audio, power, camera control, and tally information through a single Ethernet cable. At the heart of the NDI Rig are six OBSBOT Tail Air PTZ cameras — compact, intelligent cameras designed for modern content creation. These cameras combine high-quality video capture with AI-powered tracking, gesture control, subject recognition, and remote PTZ operation. Presenters, performers, and guests can move naturally throughout the space while the cameras intelligently maintain framing and focus. When precise control is required, every camera can be remotely adjusted from the production rack in real time.

Unlike traditional camera systems that must live on tripods, the compact footprint of the Tail Air cameras allows them to be mounted almost anywhere. Shelves, light stands, wall mounts, desks, trusses, microphone stands, and custom mounting points become viable camera locations. This opens creative possibilities that larger camera systems simply cannot achieve while maintaining a clean, professional appearance.

Behind the scenes, the NDI Rig utilizes the same powerful production rack found in our Cinematic Rig 6, centered around the YoloBox Extreme production platform. This allows the system to deliver professional live switching, ISO recording, live line-cut creation, optional private livestreaming, integrated graphics, replay capability, remote PTZ camera control, and fast-turnaround workflows from a single compact package.
