CINE-SOLO RIG
Presenting the Cine-Solo Rig from MULTICAM.VIDEO — a pure, capture-first system designed for creators who know their story will be shaped in post. This is cinematic acquisition without racks, without live switching, and without distraction — a focused, camera-only approach built for intentional framing, pristine recording, and maximum creative freedom after the shoot.
Built around eight mirrorless cameras, the Cine-Solo Rig mirrors the visual firepower of our Cine-Pro system while stripping the workflow down to its essentials. The camera lineup pairs four Canon M6 Mark II bodies with four Sony RX10 II cameras, creating a balanced and cohesive visual language across all angles. The Canons provide interchangeable-lens flexibility for expressive close-ups, shallow depth of field, and classic cinematic composition shaped by real glass. The Sonys complement the system with razor-sharp 24–200mm equivalent zooms and fast f/2.8 apertures, delivering reach, rich color, and fluid coverage filmmakers rely on. There is no live switching, no racks, no line cuts, and no overlays — just cameras, composition, and performance, captured cleanly and intentionally.
Creative control happens at the camera level. Dual Seetec monitors provide live visibility across all eight angles, displaying four feeds per screen so directors, artists, and cinematographers can fine-tune framing, balance compositions, and make confident creative decisions on set — without committing to a live edit.
Each camera records independently in ProRes 422 via Atomos Ninja V monitors, preserving maximum image fidelity, color depth, and post-production latitude. All cameras are timecode-synchronized, allowing editors to drop footage directly into a multicam timeline for fast, frame-accurate editing — clean, organized, and effortless from first cut to final delivery.
Audio capture is included and designed to integrate seamlessly into the same post-production workflow. For dialogue and on-camera talent, DJI Mic 3 wireless systems provide clean, reliable audio with excellent headroom. Alongside this, the Cine-Solo Rig includes the Zoom F8, capable of capturing up to eight isolated tracks of dialogue or music with embedded timecode, ensuring smooth operation on set and effortless synchronization with your video footage in post.
For productions where the Zoom F8 isn’t enough — such as music artists, ensembles, or setups requiring expanded track counts and deeper sound shaping — our Avid Pro Tools studio is available as an optional upgrade via the Gear Reservation Page. This adds full multitrack recording, hands-on mixing, automation, and professional editorial refinement when additional audio horsepower is required.
While multicamera workflows are often associated with livestreaming, MULTICAM.VIDEO does not provide scheduled public broadcast services. When appropriate, we offer private livestreaming for remote collaborators or team members via a secure, password-protected YouTube stream — without shifting focus away from capture quality or post-production intent.
The Cine-Solo Rig is capture-and-go by design — quick to deploy, calm to operate, and built to disappear once the cameras roll. It’s ideal for artists, bands, filmmakers, and productions that prioritize performance, composition, and lighting, knowing the final story will be crafted later with intention. At the end of the shoot, all footage is delivered immediately on SD cards — no file transfers, no copying delays, and no added risk of data corruption.
This is cinematic acquisition in its purest form:
real glass, real depth, real motion — captured cleanly, confidently, and without compromise.
Cinematic by nature. Focused by design.
Your Production. Your Way.
